GHM Craft Taproom Challenge

Over the past few years the GHM Craft Beverage team has grown to include 3 sales people and several service staff. We now work with over 200 breweries in 26 states and have presented at local, regional and national conferences regarding insurance and risk management for breweries. All of this started back in 2012 with a few breweries in Maine and a great relationship with the Maine Brewers Guild. To show our support of how we got started we have decided to challenge ourselves by visiting our “local” breweries and seeing how their summer was and what’s on tap for fall/winter.

During the month of October the GHM Craft team will attempt to visit EVERY tasting room and brewpub in the State of Maine. That is over 100 breweries with 363 miles between Kittery (Tributary) and Fort Kent (First Mile) and 268 miles from the eastern most brewery (Lubec) and Fryeburg (Saco River).

We are using the Maine Brewers Guild - Map, their Plan Your Route Tool as well as Josh Christie’s excellent Tasting Room Hours Google Doc to schedule our trips.

Throughout the month we will documenting our travels here as well as our Facebook and Instagram pages and encourage you to follow along or join us for a beer when we are in your area.
